Club President's Charity

Rotary Club Presidents select a charity or two to receive support for the duration of their appointment.

It's an opportunity for the President to showcase organisations which particularly resonate with them, and help with special projects or fundraising events.

  • This year we're raising funds for local charity UnityMK to help with the cost of refurbishing an old warehouse.
  • The space will be a used to help people in Milton Keynes who are at risk of being unhoused or experiencing street homelessness.
  • With the generous help of our neighbours at Bletchley Rotary Club and a small Rotary District grant we have already made a start with funding their Reception area: "The Welcome Hub".
  • Keep an eye out for our fundraising events in the coming months. 
• 2024/25 Charity:
  • We sponsored the purchase of a catio (a secure outdoor area for cats) for the National Animal Welfare Trust in Bedfordshire.
  • The catio is expected to be ready for the resident felines Spring 2026.
